My friends needs legal advice about a crazy incident they had with the cops. Help please?

Okay well my buddies parked their car outside this private property and went and hiked to the top of the property to see the awesome view. The cops were called and they ran from them. The cops were within yelling distance and ordered them to stop. Anyways so problem is my buddies car is still parked outside the propery illegally and it'll probaly be towed. It has alcohol in the trunk and he's only 19 as well. Would the police do a through search and impound his car? He doesn't know what to do or who to call and he doesn't have the money for a lawyer right now. Any advice as to what he should do or the possible charges he could get oh and this is in virginia. First thing is, everybody has the right to an attorney. Its called your MIRANDA RIGHTS. Secondly, He was a fool to run. Now the cops have probable cause to search his car. He should of went and faced the music and got a ticket for parking on private property. If the cop then wanted to search his car he would not have probable cause. Your friend screwed himself but hopefully since this is his first time the judge will go easy on him. He should face the music and either plead guilty and hopefully the judge will have compassion on him or get the court appointed attorney. REMEMBER THEY ARE FREE IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD ONE.
alcohol in the trunk is ok, esp if sealed.


Only the owner of the proerty could have it towed. Should have parked on the street.


You might be able to intercept the tow truck, if the cop leaves.
