That's what sucks about court appointed lawyers. They get paid per person so they try to settle cases quickly, making it easier and profitable for them. Technically, the lawyer is supposed to work for you, as the conditions of the court specify: either you are doing community service or paying a portion for your lawyer. If he ';screwed'; you, you can certainly file a complaint. Contact the Bar Association in your state, all the info you need about what to do, etc., will be there. You should also be able to see all the lawyers that had cases against them filed there too, and the outcomes. You'd be surprised how many lawyers have been repremanded. This involves Your life, if he violated that info, he screwed you. It's your turn to screw him. Good for you. Best of Luck!
