party has admitted fault. My car was totaled out and paid off. I'm currently receiving pt for what they've called soft tissue damage in my neck, shoulder and rib cage area. I'm experiencing most pain in my neck and shoulder but the dr. said I don't need an mri cause I have full motion and the x-ray's came up normal. I'm experiencing significant pain in my shoulder area, should I demand an mri? When I asked the office manager at the dr's office to get a 2nd opinion she said they would probably grant the mri but that it would affect any monetary amount I receive from my lawsuit. What should I do?

You should be no more afraid to ';press'; your lawyer for answers about your case than you should be to ';press'; your gardener for answers about why the grass hasn't been cut. Your lawyer works for you - NOT the other way around.

Honestly You will not lose anything from taking an mri. you just wont get as much money. It is like if you have +5 then minus 1 you still have +4.





I personally would do the MRI because it is better then not doing it and having it be worse down the road. Just a personal decision.
Uhmmm......I think getting proper health care should take priority over any monetary award. And any medical costs should be covered by the guilty party
